The Venezuelan Ambassador to Colombia, Tomás Guanipa, rejected the kidnapping of Deputy Freddy Guevara by Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship.
“These acts show a systematic policy of persecution of those of us who fight for the freedom of Venezuela,” said Guanipa in a message posted on his social network accounts.
The Venezuelan diplomat also repudiated the siege against the residence of the president in charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, by the FAES (Maduro’s extermination group).
This Monday, July 12th, the President in Charge was the victim of an attempted kidnapping, in which officials at the service of the dictatorship entered his residence and even activated an explosive device in the basement of his home building.
The President in Charge denounced that his driver was tied up and beaten by the regime’s henchmen. Likewise, he confessed that he would have had the same fate as Guevara, except for the actions of the neighbors and the media that came out in his defense.
