The Ambassador to Colombia, Tomás Guanipa, spoke about the return of President (E) Juan Guaidó to Venezuela.
Guanipa said that Venezuelans, once again, witnessed the violent reality that the country is experiencing, where Maduro’s dictatorship uses repression to perpetuate itself in power, while the majority of the Venezuelan people want change and freedom.
“They used state forces to try to prevent the entry of President (e) Juan Guaidó, they attacked the deputies, the journalists and the people in general, under the complicity of the security forces who once again acted as bodyguards of the violence,” he said through his Twitter account.
The diplomat reiterated that the struggle for the Venezuelan cause is more current and firm than ever.
“We have the support of the democratic world and the strength of a people who are in the streets protesting, we have to exert all the pressure so that Venezuelans can have free elections to get out of this disaster,” he said.
