The ambassador in Chile, Guarequena Gutierrez, said Friday that the representatives of Nicolás Maduro create smoke screens to divert attention to the protection that the usurper regime provides to narcoterrorist groups in Venezuelan territory. Gutierrez said this in support of the statements of the Presidential Commissioner for Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, Julio Borges before the accusations of Delcy Rodríguez, about the alleged delivery of the Esequibo territory by President Juan Guaido.
“Venezuelans, as our Commissioner Julio Borges pointed out, are aware that the one who has delivered the Esequibo to Guyana has been Maduro’s regime, who has not only delivered the Esequibo, but the country in exchange for political support as they did with the Cubans in Venezuela, who are part of the entire state network”, said the representative of Juan Guaido in Chile.
Presidential Commissioner Julio Borges, in response to the official Delcy Rodríguez, indicated that the regime has never objected to Guyana’s oil concessions in Venezuelan territorial waters, and never responded to the announcements of Guyana and the UN Secretary General on the decision of raise the border dispute to the International Court of Justice.
“They are traitors to Venezuela, they are enemies of our country and very soon they will respond to international justice for the damage they have caused”, the commissioner tweeted on the issue.
Like Borges, Guarequena Gutierrez says that these distraction maneuvers will not achieve their objective, since the regime’s drug and terrorist activities have been sufficiently denounced to international organizations.
The ambassador said that the Venezuelan Armed Forces must assume their role in defending the integrity of Venezuelan territory and free it from paramilitary and narcoterrorist groups that are not only a threat to the country, but to the continent.
