This Friday Ambassador Carlos Scull along with the legitimate Embassy team visited the province of Tumbes, a border city with Ecuador, and carried out a day of completely free -as a humanitarian measure- consular procedures as well as migratory consultancies assisted by the NGO’s ‘Veneactiva’ and ‘Cedro’.
On this occasion, 140 procedures will be carried out for the Certification of Driver’s License, Identity Accreditation, Single Status Certificate, and Legalization of University degrees (non-technical), which will also be carried out in to Puerto Pizarro where another group of nationals who need these procedures will be attended. These documents are essential to carry out various processes before the Peruvian State.
During this visit, the diplomat held a meeting with the Commander of the National Police, Luis Gamarra, where they talked about the general situation on the border with Ecuador and the flow of Venezuelan migrants who arrive daily in the country.
Ambassador Scull commented that “we are returning to this province, which is the entrance to Peru, where there are a large number of compatriots who need these documents to be able to carry out immigration procedures such as the Alien Card or the CPP, and in this way regularize their migratory status.”
Also, this Saturday the Embassy will carry out operations not only in Tumbes but in Bellavista and El Callao, where this day will only be for identity accreditation.
“We will be in working parallel like every Saturday since the idea is to be able to serve the majority of compatriots who need to legalize their documents to be able to carry out their procedures before the Peruvian State, all operations are by appointment at www.operativo.embajadadevenezuela.pe and we plan to continue carrying them out this month and the next,” said the diplomat.
From the Embassy, we continue working for all Venezuelans in Peru who need to carry out basic documentary procedures for migration processes before the Peruvian State.
