The Ambassador in Argentina, Elisa Trotta Gamus, informed that she successfully accomplished the first day of the Solidarity Award. The diplomat reported that aid kits were delivered to the first 90 Venezuelan families in Caacupé Parish.
Trotta explained that this delivery was made with the help of Father Eusebio, Baires de Libertad and the team of volunteers from the Venezuelan Embassy in Argentina.
“During the next few weeks we will be holding these events, responding to many of the families who have contacted us during this period of quarantine, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic,” the diplomat added through her personal Twitter account.
Trotta insisted that the embassy will continue working to assist its fellow citizens in Argentina “without ever abandoning the task of rescuing Venezuela and conquering freedom.¨
