The ambassador in Argentina, Elisa Trotta, participated in two conferences at the Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), where topics such as Venezuelan migration and its repercussions in the region were discussed.
“We attended the presentation of the Response Plan for Refugees and Migrants from Venezuela in Argentina, presented by IOM and UNHCR, where they described what has happened and the plans they will implement during 2020 to help mitigate the dramatic refugee crisis,” she said through her Twitter account.
The diplomat informed that at the Chevening Alumni LATAM conference, she explained the reasons that generated the largest migration in the region, how it has affected the region and all the actions that are being carried out to support the Venezuelan diaspora and reverse its reality.
“Our main task is to be the voice of Venezuelans. The world knows what is happening in our country and the struggle that each Venezuelan, inside and outside our borders, is waging to achieve definitive change and a solution to the crisis. We will continue until we achieve it,” she said.
