The Ambassador to the United States, Carlos Vecchio, condemned the suicide attacks perpetrated in the city of Kabul in Afghanistan.
“Our condolences to the families of the deceased,” Vecchio said in a message posted on his social network accounts.
Similarly, the Venezuelan diplomat expressed “all our solidarity with the wounded and victims, the people of Afghanistan, as well as US authorities and other governments.”
“Violence will never be the way,” Vecchio said.
This Thursday there was a double explosion caused by suicide attacks at the Kabul airport and in the vicinity of the Baron Hotel. According to health sources, the fatalities amount to at least 60, including four US Marines, and the wounded exceed one hundred.
