Ambassador Vecchio to Maduro’s dictatorship: “The message is clear, your actions against millions of Venezuelans will not go unpunished”

The ambassador to the United States, Carlos Vecchio, thanked the European Union (EU) for sanctioning 19 collaborators of Maduro’s dictatorship for serious human rights violations and undermining democracy in Venezuela.

“The message is clear: their actions against millions of Venezuelans will not go unpunished before the world,” Vecchio said in a message posted on social networks.

The diplomatic representative insisted that “it ) is required a joint and unified action by the international community (US, EU, Lima Groups and Contact, OAS and UN) to put a stop and end one of the most cruel dictatorships that Latin America has known.”

“We cannot do it alone, but we are not going to stop,” he ended.
