This Monday the Representative of the National Assembly in Argentina, Elisa Trotta, commemorated the Independence Day of Venezuela.
“Today, July 5th, marks 210 years since the signing of the Act of Independence of Venezuela. In that deeply civil and powerful event, a meeting of deputies were convinced of conquering Independence and with it, the most precious asset that human beings can have: freedom,” Trotta said through a message on her official Twitter account.
The official stressed that Maduro’s de facto and tyrannical power intends to annihilate the freedom achieved by the blood and fire of our patriots.
“That is why we fight, not with spears and rifles like our liberating fathers, but for the same emancipatory and liberating objective. We fight despite the weapons that tyranny raises against our people and despite the powers subjected to the will of a single person,” she declared.
Finally, Trotta asserted that just like that July 5th, together we will build the path to achieve the clamor for freedom of a people.
