The Representative of the National Assembly to Argentina, Elisa Trotta Gamus, highlighted that the International Criminal Court (ICC) has documented how Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship has destroyed the justice system in Venezuela.
“In Venezuela, according to data issued by organizations such as Human Rights Watch, just the FAES, the main extermination group of Nicolás Maduro, has carried out more than 19,000 extrajudicial executions since its creation in 2016,” Ms. Trotta said in a message posted on her official Twitter account.
The official indicated that there is no justice in the country, as was made clear in the Report of the UN Independent Fact Finding Mission. Likewise, she stressed that crimes against humanity have not stopped.
“We cannot allow impunity or the continuation of these criminal acts,” she concluded.
