The complaint is essential to make visible the damage caused by Maduro’s regime with its protection of dissident factions of the FARC in Venezuela and the negative impact that the actions of these narco-terrorist groups have generated within Venezuelan territory. This is why the Venezuelan ambassador to Costa Rica, María Faría, pointed out the importance of the forceful complaint and statement made recently by the Vice President of Colombia,Marta Lucía Ramírez, on behalf of the government of President Ivan Duque.
“This is important and we are grateful for this complaint and rejection by the Government of Colombia of the complicity of the dictatorship with irregular narco-terrorist groups that responsible for new forced displacements on the border, and with which the regime has been complacent, facilitating their stay in Venezuelan territory. The Colombian people know better than anyone the terror infused by these groups that threaten not only the lives of Venezuelans, but also threaten the stability of the continent and the entire hemisphere with their criminal actions,” said the Ambassador.
For the diplomatic representative of Venezuela, “it is time for the International Community to impose greater pressure in order to promote a democratic solution through free, fair and verifiable elections, to put an end to the serious humanitarian crisis generated by the dictatorship and rescue the democratic order,” she emphatically concluded.
