The Presidential Deputy Commissioner for Foreign Affairs in France, Isadora Zubillaga, thanked France for supporting the democratic cause in Venezuela.
Zubillaga extended her recognition to French President Emmanuel Macron, Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Yves Le Drian and the French Ambassador to Venezuela, Romain Nadal, for their words of appreciation to Juan Guaidó as President (E) of Venezuela.
“We thank President Emmanuel Macron, Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian and Ambassador Romain Nadal for their support to our President Juan Guaidó and to the cause of Democracy and Freedom in Venezuela,” she said through her Twitter account.
The French government welcomed the re-election of Juan Guaidó as President of the Venezuelan National Assembly on January 5th and recognized his struggle for the freedom of Venezuela.
Macron rejected the intimidation that Nicolas Maduro’s regime has exerted on deputies, journalists and members of the diplomatic corps in order to prevent the smooth running of the sessions of the National Assembly.
