The Embassy to Peru began the second “Special Procedures Day” in the province of Tumbes, where 96 procedures were carried out free of charge for humanitarian reasons, these will take place until Saturday 17th of the current month, with the aim of returning the identity to nationals.
The Embassy opened 280 places for this first day, through the web page operativos.embajadevenezuela.
Ambassador Carlos Scull said from Tumbes: “this is one more achievement of the legitimate government, we are reaching the Venezuelans in the provinces because we know that it is difficult for them to make a trip to Lima to do the paperwork they need to finish their migration process in many cases.”
“We wanted to attend Venezuelan nationals in different provinces much earlier, especially where we know that there is a high number of them, but due to the global pandemic by Covid-19, it had to be postponed in several opportunities. Today we can say that we are returning the right to identity that the regime has taken away from Venezuelans abroad,” said the Scull.
The diplomatic office continues to work for Venezuelan migrants who need to carry out basic documentation procedures for the migration processes in Peru.
