The diplomatic mission of the interim government of President (e) Juan Guaidó in Chile, reports with concern that the Bolivarian Intelligence Service (SEBIN) Venezuela’s regime political police, illegally broke into the parental home of our ambassador Carlos Millán.
The officials entered without a search warrant the home, located in Naguanagua, Carabobo State, where the grandparents Amalia Arteaga, 71 years old, and Freddy Millán, 69 years old, of the diplomat reside.
We reject these intimidating actions that occur 16 days after the raid on the homes of our government’s ambassador to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, Rafael Domínguez, as well as the members of the National Council for Judicial Defense: David Natera, Gabriel Gallo, Romer Rubio, Arghemar Pérez Sanguineti, Jonathan López and Freddy Orlando.
We hold Nicolás Maduro’s regime and its repressive bodies responsible for any incident that might happen to his relatives.
We alert the international community to the escalation of intimidation orchestrated by the regime against those who have the honor of representing Venezuela, both in the country and abroad.
