The Commissioner for Security and Intelligence, Iván Simonovis, attended the conference to analyze the case of the political murder of Councilman Fernando Albán in Washington.
The investigators who made an appearance at the conference concluded that there is sufficient evidence to establish that those regime officials involved will be convicted
“Venezuelan law enforcement officials must understand that compliance with illegal orders makes them assasins and that will lead them to a certain conviction and jail”, the Security Commissioner warned.
Simonovis also referred to the murder for political reasons of Councilman Edmundo Rada. “The investigation points to another political hired killer of the regime, since FAES is already mentioned as responsible”, he said.
