The Legitimate Government’s Security and Intelligence Commissioner, Iván Simonovis, warned that the violence that frequently occurs on ‘Cota 905’ -a slum in western Caracas- could spread to the entire region.
“To say that the events in Caracas, at ‘Cota 905’ are evidence of a failed state is to have a rickety vision of the problem in Venezuela, but above all for what lies ahead for the region,” Simonovis said in a message published in his twitter account.
Simonovis recalled that it was Maduro’s own dictatorship that 20 years ago decided to hand over war weapons to criminal groups.
“They turned them into the ‘bastion for the defense of the revolution’, at that moment they stopped being criminal groups to become irregular armed groups,” he added.
Similarly, the official said that “there is a common denominator between the events that occurred in Apure a month ago and now at ‘Cota 905’, that common denominator is called chaos. Chaos is nothing more than a hybrid war whose final objective is nothing more than to achieve the dysfunctionality of the country until everything collapses.”
ALERT FOR THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY
Commissioner Iván Simonovis warned that the alliance between Maduro’s regime and irregular groups could generate conflict in other countries in the region.
“None of this is causal, everything obeys a well-structured multi-year plan that has multipolar support, in this case led by Russia, China and Iran. These countries have their interests, interests of an asymmetric war against the United States, financial interests and geopolitical interests,” he assured.
The official of the Legitimate Government predicted that “the cancer of destabilization will continue to advance in Latin America if a regional coalition is not created capable of countering the advance of this movement and in this way be able to restore tranquility to citizens and peace to the region.”
