The Ambassador to the United States, Carlos Vecchio, recognized the work done by the Legitimate Government of Venezuela to protect the country’s assets abroad.
Regarding the CITGO case, the diplomat reiterated that the fumbling of the regime have put the subsidiary of the state owned PDVSA in danger.
“We have secured measures from the U.S. OFAC expecting any ruling in cases involving CITGO for Maduro’s irresponsible debts, including the 2020 bonds,” he reported.
Vecchio stated that while Nicolas Maduro’s dictatorship handed over Citgo, Venezuelan President (E) Juan Guaidó has protected the asset for Venezuela.
The Legitimate Government of Venezuela issued a statement this Friday before the decision of the New York Court in the case of the PDVSA 2020 Bonds, assuring the support of a legal team appointed by the ad hoc Administrative Board of PDVSA in carrying out the necessary evaluations to consider all the legal options, including the appeal.
👇 https://t.co/4CHj7CKKXa
