The ambassador in Ecuador, René De Sola, has echoed the information published by the Ecuadorian president, Lenín Moreno, about the curfew decree in Quito and Los Valles. The traffic ban will be in effect from 3:00 pm, the ambassador recalled.
“We insist our entire Venezuelan community to abide by it and adhere to the provisions of the law”, said De Sola through his personal Instagram account.
The ambassador asked his fellow citizens to remain calm in the face of the violence that Ecuador is experiencing while supporting President Moreno’s decision.
Democratic leaders of the world have declared themselves in favor of the Moreno government. President (E), Juan Guaidó, sympathized with his Ecuadorian couple and said that the regime of Nicolás Maduro could be behind the destabilizing acts.
Similarly, the Assistant Secretary of State for the Western Hemisphere, Jon Piechowski, said that the United States (USA) will be investigating whether there is any interference by Nicolás Maduro’s regime in the protests in Ecuador.
