The ambassador in Spain, Antonio Ecarri, held a meeting with the mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez Almeida, in which they addressed different projects to serve Venezuelans in Spain.
Ecarri reported that he exposed the most urgent problems facing the most vulnerable Venezuelans in Spain to the mayor of Madrid, many of whom are homeless. “We remain confident in your commitment”, he said.
In this way, several projects were studied to attend the Venezuelan community in Madrid at risk of social exclusion, as reported by the Venezuelan embassy.
For his part, Mayor Martínez said, “I have expressed to the Venezuelan ambassador in Spain the support of the Madrid City Council and my commitment to a Venezuela in Freedom, where the human rights and freedoms of all Venezuelans are respected.”
