The ambassador to Costa Rica, Maria Faria, held a meeting with the Director of the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) of the country, Walter Espinoza, to advocate for the migratory conditions of Venezuelans who have been affected by the current management of the agency of Migration and Foreigners from their country of origin (Venezuela).
The conversation between the ambassador and the director of the OIJ focused on the decrees issued by the governments of the presidents Juan Guaidó and Carlos Alvarado, regarding the legalization of the migratory situation of Venezuelans living in the Central American country, regarding the recovery of their identity documents, kidnapped by SAIME.
“We will coordinate jointly so that the entities that are part of the OIJ know the scope of the efforts that we have made for the benefit of our fellow citizens. Organized Migration!”, Declared the ambassador.
Faria also thanked the support of the institutions of Buenos Aires regarding the attention to the Venezuelan diaspora, which has allowed a good insertion in the country.
