The ambassador of the legitimate government of Venezuela in Guatemala, María Teresa Romero, held a meeting with Sandra Jovel, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country where they ratified the alliance of both nations for the recovery of democracy in Venezuela.
The Guatemalan minister is one of the foreign ministers that make up the Lima Group, who at the last UN General Assembly requested and obtained the approval of a commission to investigate violations of Human Rights and fundamental freedoms, committed by the Nicolás Maduro’s regime from 2014 to the present.
The Guatemalan Foreign Ministry held the meeting between the Venezuelan ambassador and Jovel, demonstrating that the support is genuine and they support the Venezuelans in the fight for the cessation of usurpation.
