The Canadian ambassador, Orlando Viera Blanco, participated this weekend in different meetings of the Diplomatic Economic Mission in the Province of Bristish Columbia (BC), a mission made up of more than 50 Ambassadors, commercial delegates and accredited consuls in Canada.
Viera Blanco had the opportunity to exchange views with Liutenant Governor of BC Janet Austin and the province’s prime minister, John Horgan. “We are very committed to Venezuela, and very aware of the deep humanitarian crisis that your country is going through. From British Columbia, we are willing to help your people with supplies and food. Count on all our solidarity and in the near future to collaborate in the recovery and development of your beautiful country”, said BC Democratic Prime Minister John Horgan.
“We are very proud to be the voice of the Venezuelan people and our president Juan Guaidó in these important forums, where we have approached Ambassadors of the African Commonwealth and the once iron curtain as well as strengthening alliances. Here we find an infinite horizon of opportunities for Venezuela, where rests the light and natural spirit of the country’s rescue. We have built bridges so that a first world of sustainable technology, education and environmental culture such as that of BC, will join Venezuela”, said the Venezuelan ambassador.
The agenda will continue this Monday with meetings with investors and visits to the Parliament of Victoria, capital of the Province.
