The Presidential Commissioner for Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, Julio Borges, reacted to the announcement of the return to arms of the leaders of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) and asserted that said decision is the first outcome of the Sao Paulo Forum held in Caracas.
“The news of the Farc is the first outcome of the undemocratic Sao Paulo Forum. Latin America must understand that Nicolás Maduro must be driven out of power, otherwise he and Castro will persist in destabilizing the region”, said the Venezuelan diplomat.
“The Democrats of Colombia and Venezuela far from dividing ourselves, we must face our common enemy, that is Maduro and his alliance with Cuba, with all the tools at our disposal. We will stop this destruction project!” Borges added.
At the closing of the Sao Paulo Forum, which took place between July 25 and 28 in Caracas, the usurper’s regime assured that former FARC leaders Iván Márquez and Jesús Santrich, fugitives from justice, that they were “welcome” in the country whenever they want .
“Iván Márquez and Jesús Santrich are welcome to Venezuela and the Sao Paulo Forum whenever they want to come, they are two peace leaders, and Timochenko and Catatumbo and the Farc are welcome to Venezuela whenever they want to come because they are peace leaders”, the dictator said.
