Florida State Senator in the United States, Rick Scott, met Tuesday with Venezuelan Ambassador Carlos Vecchio and the Presidential Commissioner for Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, Julio Borges.
During the meeting, representatives of both countries agreed to gather all the reports about the human rights violations committed by Maduro’s regime.
“I told them we must do more to tell the stories of the genocide of Nicolás Maduro”, Scott said through his personal Twitter account.
He also invited Venezuelans to send their stories to transmit them from his platform.
“Send me your story! I will be your voice. We need the world to listen to what Maduro does to Venezuela”, he concluded.
The delegation, headed by Borges, will hold meetings with representatives of the White House, the State Department and the United States Congress. The objective of this visit is to deepen the sanctions and actions against family members and front men of the military and civil leadership that today supports Nicolás Maduro’s regime.
