The US Agency for International Development, USAID, will deliver this August 13th a new supplies to the Erasmus University Hospital Meoz to improve the attention of the emergency department of the institution.
A tent with floor and air conditioning, with capacity to have about 20 people under observation, diverse medical equipment, chairs and desks necessary for the provision of health services in this space, are part of the new contribution by the American agency.
The delivery ceremony was attended by the Vice Minister of National Health, Iván Darío González, the Deputy Administrator for Latin America and the Caribbean of USAID, Jhon Barsa, the Director of the Mission and the Advisor of Venezuelan Affairs of the same entity, Larry Sacks and Frank So respectively.
The delegation will arrive at the Hospital in the afternoon, will visit the Emergency, adult and pediatric areas, in addition to gynecology. They will finish the visit in the tent, with a press conference for the regional media.
