The Presidential Commissioner for Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, Julio Borges, and the Deputy of the National Assembly (NA), Carlos Paparoni, will meet this January 19th and 20th with the U.S. Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, to deliver evidence that confirms the links between Nicolas Maduro’s regime and Hezbollah.
“The meeting is about anti-terrorism and will be defining actions against fundamentalist terrorist groups that have a presence in the region like Hezbollah. President Guaidó asked both the foreign minister and myself to present evidence of the relationship between Nicolás Maduro and Hezbolá,” Paparoni said during an interview with NTN24.
In December 2019, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed the link between Maduro’s regime and international terrorism.
Venezuelan President Juan Guaidó said the dictatorship was not only trafficking drugs but also terrorism. “They are a danger to the world,” the president said at the end of last year.
