The deputy of the National Assembly (AN), Juan Pablo García, rejected on Wednesday the murder of the University of Oriente student, Gerardo Ledezma.
“What a disgrace! That is the revolution, death. We lose the youth that is our future. Justice has to be implacable because of so much damage and social degradation,” the parliamentarian said through his personal Twitter account.
Ledezma was a Systems Engineering student at Los Guaritos campus in Monagas State. The young man was attacked during Wednesday afternoon in the vicinity of the university, allegedly to steal his cell phone.
This November 21, the student sector is scheduled to mobilize nationally to commemorate Students Day. Students in Caracas plan to mobilize to Fuerte Tiuna.
