The deputy of the National Assembly (AN), Alfonso Marquina, accompanied President (E) Juan Guaidó in the tour he made in Barquisimeto, Lara state. During the ceremony, which took place at the state’s Medical College, the parliamentarian recalled that the democratic change sought by the majority of Venezuelans is everyone’s responsibility.
“Organizing ourselves to make more efficient every day the political work that allows us to accomplish that change that we all aspire to. It is not enough to be brave; we have to be organized. It’s not enough to be basic, you have to be better,” Marquina said during the tour.
The parliamentarian assured that the process that Venezuela is going through is a preparation for the cessation of usurpation and the time comes for free elections.
“We have to organize ourselves so that when the time comes for free, democratic and just elections that we request for so much, we have already formed a civil army of men and women who will be at every corner, voting center, at every polling station at the national level defending the will of the people and their legitimate right to change,” he concluded during the meeting with the citizens in Lara.
During the citizens’ assembly, Guaidó remarked that next November 16th there will be a great national uprising: “Let’s go out on November 16th to recover our Christmas, let’s rise up on November 16th, let’s wake up with the tricolor high throughout Venezuela. I am in Barquisimeto because I came to look for you to take to the streets. The 16th is already a victory if we take the streets,” Guaidó said.
