The deputy to the National Assembly, Bibiana Lucas, said that the announcement of the dissidents of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) to return to arms makes the Maduro regime more vulnerable, and thus confirms the ties of the dictatorship with narcoterrorism.
The parliamentarian explained that the dictatorship organized the Sao Paulo Forum in Caracas with the aim of allowing these groups to coordinate and establish their strategy to destabilize the Colombian government.
“This what does is make Nicolás Maduro more vulnerable because now his links with these narcoterrorists are beginning to be corroborated”, Lucas said during an interview on TV Venezuela.
Deputy Bibiana Lucas said that since the mediation rounds by the Kingdom of Norway were canceled, the Legitimate Government of President (e) Guaidó has not maintained contact with the dictatorship. “The talks have been with the Norwegian technical team that came to Venezuela.”
Furthermore, she explained that they already know the regime’s strategy of trying to extend time. So in the next meeting, instead of negotiating, they will make a specific proposal.
“Our proposal is still very clear, we need a political transition with elections with guarantees, and our guarantees are already presented. The ball is on their side and that effectively they want to put aside all authoritarianism and be able present and measure themselves before elections”, she said.
