The deputy to the National Assembly, Luis Lippa, denounced that the production in Apure has decreased due to the presence of irregular groups protected by Maduro’s regime.
Lippa warned that these groups have expanded from the border line to the entire national territory. “They have provoked the flight of the producers, they have provoked fear, now another element for the production to decrease.”
“We have seven mayor rivers in Apure and we cannot produce because we have to ask permission from those who have taken over the land”, the parliamentarian added.
Furthermore, Deputy Lippa stressed that the most serious of the situation is the consent of the dictatorship to these narcoterrorist groups to carry out their criminal activities.
For this reason he requested a new border policy. “We have the FARC, the ELN, the FVL, plus the paramilitaries and the common underworld. It is not easy to live in areas of Apure, where they do not let people produce and recruit teenagers”, said the parliamentarian.
