The first vice-president of the National Assembly (NA), deputy Edgar Zambrano, visited the municipality of Sucre in the state of Zulia, specifically the town of Caja Seca, to walk and thank the Virgin Immaculate Conception, as part of the Walks of Prayer and Faith for Peace and Freedom of Political Prisoners in Venezuela.
“We Venezuelans must bring together in prayer, faith and peace, hope for the country, for that new Venezuela that represents the new generations for the political desideratum of the country,” said the parliamentarian in relation to the commemoration of the Day of University Students.
Zambrano indicated that youth has been an important factor that has accompanied the constitutional protest during the 20 years of this political model that has failed and been defeated by history.
“During these 20 years of failure that the country has experienced with this political model, the protagonism of our young people has been preponderant from all walks of life, it is the hands of these young people that we need for the reconstruction of the country,” he said.
The second seat of the legislature walked the streets of the Municipalities Sucre and Tulio Fébres Cordero, from 1º de Mayo sector to the Immaculate Conception Church, accompanied by the mayor of the Municipality of Sucre, Yonis Gonzáles, representatives of the Frente Amplio Venezuela Libre of the entity and civil society.
He also said that this pilgrimage, that takes place in the different states of the country, is with the aim of sensitizing the population and reencounter again with the embrace of prayer,” added Deputy Zambrano.
