Despite the arrest warrant against him and the illegal revocation of his parliamentary immunity, the deputy to the National Assembly, Juan Pablo Guanipa, challenged the dictatorship and arrived at the Miranda Square of Los Dos Caminos to participate in the mobilization convened in support the Zulian people.
“We do not recognize that farce of the National Constituent Assembly and the illegitimate Supreme Court of Justice that issued a sentence that nobody acknowledges, so at this moment what do we have to do? Continue fighting for Venezuela to get out of this situation and what will Juan Pablo Guanipa do? Keep fighting where we have to fight and we will be analyzing all the options and possibilities at our disposal”, he said.
“Let the whole world see what is happening in our country, let the whole world see how they confiscated democracy, let the whole world see that there is a people willing to take the streets and fight to achieve the freedom of Venezuela. This is a country where its regions move forward and contribute to development, we thank Caracas and other parts of Venezuela who have met here to demonstrate in support of a region that has given the country a lot”, he said.
“Zulia was the first producer of meat, milk, cheese, eggs, fish, fruits, bananas”, and today it is producing absolutely nothing. We fell into the hands of a dictatorship that does not care about people and production in the states, what interests them is to give a bite to the people so they stay calm and shut up, but today this fight for Zulia and for the regions will allow everyone to have a country”, he said.
“Venezuela knows what it has to do to get rid of these dictators. We are convinced that the fight we are giving is the right figh and we have to thank God and the people of Caracas who accompany us in this tragedy”, he concluded.
