This August 7, marks a year since the kidnapping of the deputy to the National Assembly of Venezuela, Juan Requesens, by the usurper’s regime who has been responsible for persecuting and imprisoning all those who fight for a country where the human rights of all citizens are respected and guaranteed.
The dictatorship jailed Requesens after he was accused of an alleged attack on Nicolás Maduro.
Today, when 365 days have elapsed, political leaders speak out and demand their immediate release.

The deputy of the AN, Dignora Hernández, expressed her support for Juan Requesens through her official Twitter account.
“His struggle symbolizes that of a citizen who does not give up and should be an example for a Parliament that should not give up a millimeter to the tyrant. We are with him.”
Deputy Carlos Paparoni, ratified, through his official Twitter account, his support for Juan Requesens and indicated that “I will continue to fight until we achieve freedom, democracy and a better future”
Deputy William Dávila rejected the illegal kidnapping of Juan Requesens and demanded his full freedom.
“We reject and condemn that since one year has elapsed of the illegal kidnapping of our partner and combative brother, Juan Requesens, we demand his full freedom NOW!”, He said through his official Twitter account
Gregorio Graterol, deputy to the National Assembly, called Juan Requesens brave. “He remains firm as an example of the struggle to keep us from giving up until all political prisoners and Venezuela are released.”
The deputy of the NA, Jorge Millán, denounced through his official Twitter account the impunity that exists in Venezuela. “Juan Requesens was kidnapped a year ago in his residence and taken to Sebin headquarters, violating his parliamentary immunity.”
The deputy to the NA, Elimar Díaz, said through her official Twitter account that she refuses to kneel in front of those who pretend to break our moral fiber.
“One year after your kidnapping, dear friend and colleague Dip. Requesens This message not only resonates in the National Assembly, but also throughout Venezuela”, she said.
Deputy José Guerra demanded through his Twitter account, the immediate release of his colleague Requesens. “Juan Requesens marks one year arbitrarily detained by the dictatorship. We demand your freedom. ”
Lester Toledo, International Coordinator for Humanitarian Aid of the Legitimate Government of Venezuela said that this year has been full of injustices, torture and human rights violations. “Today marks a year of the kidnapping of the Dip. Requesens, a year full of injustices, torture and human rights violations”, he wrote through his official Twitter account.
The former governor of Miranda state, Henrique Capriles Radonski, said through his official Twitter account that “His friend and Deputy Juan Requesens has been kidnapped for 1 year by the regime that does not forgive his youth, dignity and struggle.”
He also said that the parliamentarian Requesens is for the usurper Maduro a trophy. “The regime knows that Juan is innocent, but it is part of the trophies of an usurper.”
