The First Lady of Venezuela, Fabiana Rosales, delivered food and medicines to various foundations in Lara state, to benefit more than 25 thousand people, affected by the Complex Humanitarian Emergency in the country.
During the activity, she recalled that it is the usurper regime that contributes to the suffering of Venezuelans by denying the entry of Humanitarian Aid, also warned that the inhabitants of the entity show signs of malnutrition due to lack of food and the high cost of basic family basket.
“Lara is the third state in the country with the highest malnutrition rate, this situation is alarming, we cannot continue like this. We know that this humanitarian aid is not enough, when the borders are opened, tons of help will enter to address this serious crisis”, said Rosales de Guaidó after holding a meeting with the foundations in the state.
Among the items delivered there are hospital supplies and primary care; food and formulas for children and adults, as well as personal hygiene products.
Together with the First Lady, parliamentarians Bolivia Suárez, Ana Salas, Ángel Torres, Macario González and Guillermo Palacios attended the delivery, as well as leaders and various political parties and sectors of the Frente Amplio Venezuela Libre and civil society.
