President Juan Guaidó met this Wednesday with representatives of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). He was received by Luis Alberto Moreno, President of the institution.
“The Inter-American Development Bank is a fundamental pillar in this Venezuela that is coming,” said Guaidó about the meeting.
Moreno stressed that the IDB was the first multilateral institution to welcome President Guaidó as the president of the Venezuelans.
“We have been working for a long time ready to accompany President Guaidó on the day he has all the instruments of power to serve all Venezuelans,” said the IDB representative.
Moreno stressed that Venezuela needs to quickly find a way to allow this institution to join efforts for the country and Venezuelans.
This meeting with IDB representatives came moments after the president held a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House.
