The nurses’ guild in the country began a 24-hour strike to protest the precarious conditions in which they must carry out their work. Through street demonstrations they have shown their discontent and the urgency of improving work conditions.
Leopoldo López, backed Wednesday the cause of Venezuelan nurses, recognizing the situation they face.
“All my solidarity and support for our nurses who take to the streets today for a 24-hour strike, protesting the working conditions that Maduro’s dictatorship has denied them. The usurper has destroyed the health system and despite that, our nurses are still standing, saving lives”, said Leopoldo López.
In the reconstruction of the country programmed by the legitimate government, led by the president in charge, Juan Guaidó, the Health System has great weight. There are millions of Venezuelans who demand adequate living conditions.
“We have all our energy put into building the best Venezuela for our children, where health and education are a priority”, Lopez concluded, also referring to the reconstruction of the Educational System.
