The Presidential Commissioner for the Organization of the United Nations, Miguel Pizarro warned about the serious humanitarian crisis that specially affect to the inhabitants of Zulia state and warned that this condition will not change until the cessation of usurpation in Venezuela is achieved.
Pizarro mentioned an article published by the newspaper, The Washington Post that highlights how the inhabitants of El Paují and Maracaibo went from living in one of the most prosperous cities in Venezuela due to the abundance of oil, to one of the most affected by the humanitarian crisis generated by Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship.
“Maracaibo was a symbol of modernity and development as this is one of the main oil cities in the country. However, today it is one of the cities most affected by the crisis generated by this regime”, said the Presidential Commissioner.
In this sense, Pizarro remarked “the permanence in power of Nicolás Maduro only means chaos, misery and corruption. All this has a unique solution: the cessation of usurpation and with it, the definitive exit of this political model”, he said.
