The President of the Republic, Juan Guaidó, asked this Sunday to be relieved of his duties momentarily in the Voluntad Popular party to work independently for the freedom of the country.
“I ask my party (Voluntad Popular) to relieve me from my militancy (patry duties) in order to focus completely on the freedom of Venezuela,” said Guaidó during the National Assembly’s swearing-in ceremony.
This show of detachment is to demonstrate that he not only works under a political organization, but with all those who make life in democratic unity.
