The fires in Australia have exceeded expectations and caused serious damage to the territory, with incalculable consequences for the country’s population and fauna. The president in charge, Juan Guaidó, expressed his solidarity with the Australians during this difficult time.
“My solidarity with the people of Australia and their Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, in the face of the devastating fires that the country has suffered,” said Guaidó.
The Head of the Venezuelan Parliament called attention to climate change, stressing that it is a global problem that all nations must face. Guaidó also used the message to denounce the ecocide perpetrated by Nicolás Maduro’s regime, through the exploitation in the Venezuelan Mining Arc.
“It is a challenge for all of us to fight against climate change and to take care of our planet from ecocidal actions like the one we see in Venezuela with the Mining Arc,” concluded the president in charge.
