The president in charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, ratified during the ordinary session of the National Assembly the route proposed by the presiding government so that the complex humanitarian emergency that affects the country is resolved.
“Yesterday we presented a clear proposal whereby the regime ran out of the mechanism proposed by the Kingdom of Norway. The regime is afraid of a solution and they are only interested in their interests”, said the head of state.
In this regard, Guaidó reiterated the proposal made on Monday. “Gentlemen of the Armed Forces and the international community we are proposing free elections in a short time, institutional ecosystem, new National Electoral Council and international observation.”
“A Government Council to generate the form of government for the transition, plural, equitable, with the presence of even the Armed Forces if requested”, said the Venezuelan president.
In addition, Guaido said that it is planned to combat the complex humanitarian emergency by accompanying “all those who are demanding their rights and those who are dying in the streets, we are on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe.”
Finally, the head of state stressed that a guarantee will be given to all who participate in this process. “We assume this political cost, understanding that we must face all the factors of society, because the Tiar required some votes that we had to go out to look for.”
DISTRACTION BY THE DICTATORSHIP
President (E) Guaidó warned that Maduro’s regime seeks the usual, to divert attention. “If the regime wanted to distract attention from the central proposal for which they abandoned, today the European Union stepped out recognizing this Parliament exclusively”, he said.
Likewise, he remarked that this ‘parapet’ of a dialogue did not last them 24 hours by not fulfilling what they themselves had established that was to return their deputies to the National Assembly.
“If the regime wants to repeat the mistake it already made in 2017 and 2018 with tragic consequences for our people, we will continue with the solution”, said the Venezuelan president.
