The president in charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, expressed his support for the protests held this Wednesday by workers from different sectors of the country who raised their voices against the dictatorship to demand better wage and working conditions.
“Public officials, we are with you. All sectors, all of Venezuela is in this together. This struggle will be until we achieve it,” said the Head of State in a message published on Twitter.
Similarly, President Guaidó highlighted the mobilizations organized by teachers and nurses at the national level to demand better working conditions. “Teachers are also in the streets today demanding to be able to work and to educate the future of our country with dignity.”
“The nursing union has joined the protest of our teachers, because all Venezuelans are united in one cause,” he added.
He also referred to the protest made by relatives of patients of the J.M. de los Ríos hospital who “continue to protest because our hospitals lack supplies and doctors, reflecting the complex humanitarian emergency.”
