The President of the Republic, Juan Guaidó, celebrated the arrival of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) in Venezuela.
The President assured that the regime violates the human rights of the country’s citizens on a daily basis.
“In Venezuela, the dictatorship violates the human rights of citizens on a daily basis. Our struggle has been to make this situation visible to the world and achieve solutions. We celebrate the announcement of the IACHR. We will not rest until human rights are no longer violated in our country,” he said through social networks.
The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) confirmed its early visit to Venezuela to observe the abuses of Nicolás Maduro’s regime in the country.
Through a communication addressed to the Venezuelan ambassador to the Organization of American States (OAS), the president of the autonomous entity of the OAS, Paulo Abrão, informed that the dates available for the visit would be between February 3rd and 7th of this year.
