Protection and blessings for Venezuelans and to guide the country’s path to freedom, that was what the President of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, asked La Divina Pastora with faith and devotion during the procession of his 164th visit to the city of Barquisimeto.
Minutes after having started the walk from Santa Rosa Church to the cathedral of the capital of Lara State, Guaidó joined the tour in the company of the first Vice President of the National Assembly, Juan Pablo Guanipa, and several members of Parliament.
“Today I accompany the parishioners of the Patroness of Lara State, as I have done on other occasions. I ask the Pastorcita with a lot of faith, but also with a lot of humility to guide our way and the way of the Venezuelans towards freedom”.
The President in charge of the country also said he is sure that “we (Venezuelans) will overcome this tragedy and that we will also be able to heal as a society.”
Guaidó shared with the parishioners more than four kilometers of the peregrination that the Patroness of Lara State makes from the town of Santa Rosa, where the church is located where she spends all year, to the cathedral of the twilight city (Barquisimeto).
He announced that this Wednesday, January 15th, Teachers’ Day, he will accompany the educators to the National Assembly, where the “Debate on possible actions for the solution of the crisis in education” will be held in the ordinary session called for that day at 10:30 am.
