The president in charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó held a meeting with more than 1500 leaders and activists from all sectors and states of the country, including his political party Volutad Popular, to expand the organization and coordinate efforts that allow the final cessation of the usurpation and the realization of free elections.
“We cannot lose sight at this crucial moment. This meeting with more than 1500 activists, militants and leaders of various parties and states of the country, is vital because we know the importance of the organization to keep us on our route. Together in an articulated way we will overcome censorship. On Saturday we will take the streets, we will go house to house to speak to all Venezuela”, said the president (E).
During the meeting the importance of the national organization was highlighted, the realization of activities for freedom, the maintenance of a single route and narrative of action and timely communication of everything that is done.
During the event, the National Operational Coordinator of Popular Will, Roland Carreño, expanded the capital importance of political communication in times of communicational hegemony of the dictatorship. “Given the blackmail that the usurper regime applies to TV channels, radio stations and other media, through licenses, access to inputs and the pretense to regulate social networks, the stellar role of the citizen must shine and especially of those who have political leadership and capacity to carry the message to all sectors and fundamentally to those most vulnerable to the coercion of the regime through the gifts and the Carnet de la Patria card”.
For his part, the member of the national leadership of the orange party, Yon Goicoechea, explained that “the meeting is a unitary act in which President (E) Juan Guaidó is calling on all the states of Venezuela to join the fight in this vital phase by the cessation of usurpation.”
The deputy to the National Assembly for Voluntad Popular, Ismael León said that “the strategy developed based on a single objective that is to ensure that all Venezuelans can decide their future in fair and impartial elections. This event will unite us more to achieve free and fair elections soon. While the parliamentarian, Richard Arteaga, said that “the goal is not only to vote, but to be able to choose, we are convinced that we are on the correct path.”
Finally, the National coordinator of the La Mejor Venezuela for Voluntad Popular, Cipriano Heredia, emphasized that they are promoting the organization at national level, to unify all sectors and civil society in the country. “We are committed to a process that involves ending the usurpation, to reach a safe harbor for truly free elections.”
