The President of Venezuela, Juan Guaido, sent a message to Ivan Duque, president of Colombia, supporting his fight against the narcoterrorist groups that live in the brother country and live in Venezuela under the support of the dictatorship.
The president offered his Colombian counterpart support to work together to ensure the peace of the region.
“Having convened the TIAR consultative body, count on Venezuela to work together, and with the entire State once the usurpation ceases to guarantee regional peace”, said the president in charge on his Twitter account.
Guaido has repeatedly assured the possibility of joint actions with the Colombian president, Iván Duque, to act against the former dissident leaders of the FARC who announced their return to arms.
For his part, Duque said that Juan Guaido was a clear defender of democracy and his people. “He is a man who has had the courage and bravery to face a dictator and a dictatorship that has tried to take his life many times, who has tried to affect his family, who has persecuted all opponents”, he said.
Pdte.
