Roberto Marrero, head of the office of the presidency of the legitimate government led by Juan Guaidó and political prisoner of the dictatorship, was transferred to the courts to initiate the first hearing and begin the trial against him.
The president in charge, Juan Guaidó notified the country about the end of the hearing, echoing the information shared by Marrero’s wife, Romy Moreno, who catalogued the act as a farce.
“Roberto Marrero’s “farcical” hearing ends. The next hearing on Dec. 4th. Thanks to Joel García and Gustavo Limongi for their impeccable defense. How embarrassed the judge must feel. Justice will be done. #LiberenaMarrero,” commented the official’s spouse.
The president recalled that Roberto Marrero has been kidnapped for 245 days by Nicolás Maduro’s regime, where he is being held on terrorism charges.
“We understand and assume the risks of facing a dictatorship. Soon, our country will be free and you too will be brother,” Guaidó said.
