The President (E) of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, addressed the country from the Zonal Meeting in the city of Valencia, Carabobo State, where he called on citizens not to leave the street and support protests of the different unions nationwide.
The Head of State called for an unprecedented popular uprising on November 16th to vindicate the struggle for democracy and freedom in Venezuela.
“On November 16th, I ask the nurses, students, everyone from every space, to take to the streets. Venezuela does not give up! Venezuela gets up! Because we have the capabilities, we build them”, he said.
The president mentioned the protest of teachers and nurses that will take place in the different states of the country and asked civil society to accompany the unions in the struggle for their rights, freedom of expression and a better future for the country.
“On October 22nd and 23rd, the teachers have called to protest and we will be with them supporting the just demands of Venezuela. We will back you whatever you decide and on October 24th we will accompany Zulia to denounce everything you suffer”, he reiterated.
“We have the strength and capabilities to get out of this dictatorship and we must all trust that”, he said.
