The president in charge of the Republic, Juan Guaidó, thanked the Congress of the United States on Thursday for its support and commitment to Venezuela in order to achieve the dissmisal of Maduro’s regime and, consequently, to achieve freedom and democracy in Venezuela.
“Our deep gratitude to the congressmen, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Mario Diaz-Balart and their parties for their commitment to a Free Venezuela,” said the president through his official Twitter account.
Furthermore, the Head of State added that “the Congress of the United States took a historic step in our struggle by constituting a bipartisan Caucus for Democracy in Venezuela.”
The Ambassador to the United States Carlos Vecchio announced yesterday the creation of the “Caucus for Democracy in Venezuela,” a group of members of the U.S. Congress who meet to pursue common legislative objectives.
“This is a historic step that further reaffirms the U.S. Congress’ commitment to the struggle for freedom in our Venezuela,” Vecchio added.
