The Interim President of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, received parliamentarians from different countries for the World Parliamentary Meeting for Freedom and Democracy in Venezuela.
The president assured that the meeting is a example of the support that the National Assembly has and to the democratic cause, and of support and commitment to Venezuela.
“We continue to direct efforts toward a solution for Venezuelans,” he said.
The head of state acknowledged that the desire for political change in Venezuela involves a feeling of eagerness to solve the humanitarian emergency in the country.
“For this reason, we are in a position of political offensive with a clear strategy that is to continue producing pressure to get rid of the dictatorship,” he said.
The deputies of the National Assembly approved during Tuesday’s ordinary session the Draft Agreement on the occasion of the First Parliamentary Meeting for Freedom and Democracy in Venezuela in support of the National Assembly and the president-in-charge Juan Guaidó.
