Miguel Ugas, Secretary General of Primero Justicia in San Felipe, categorically rejected, on behalf of 10 municipalities in the state of Yaracuy, the actions that have been carried out by Congressman Luis Parra, who was expelled from the ranks of Primero Justicia, and who also wants to make believe that his fellow party members in the state support him (Parra), emphasizing that it is not true and that from the beginning they have dissociated themselves from Parra’s position because they consider that he has betrayed the people of Venezuela and the Yaracuyans.
“This deputy who was elected with the majority of the votes in our state, in an irresponsible way, makes it seem that our organization in Yaracuy is supporting him in full and this is completely false. Regional, municipal and parish leaders, the grassroots leadership of our state is outraged, and categorically rejects everything that has happened during the siege of the National Assembly and the takeover of our organization Primero Justicia, with which it intends to hijack our acronym in the state,” said the PJ leader.
Ugas emphasized that they are proud to have national leaders who have stood up for Venezuela and for Yaracuy, and that is why they have decided to distance themselves from everyone of the people who are usurping the acronym “Primero Justicia” (Justice First) in the state, and who make it seem as if this is the feeling of the Primero Justicia Party in Yaracuy.
“We have written a communiqué which has been given to the media, to spread the rejection of the actions that this deputy, excluded from the ranks of our political organization has been carrying out, which are far from our commitment to the country. Yaracuy is a noble people that is indignant and categorically repudiates this action, which does not represent the feeling of either Primero Justicia or of the Yaracuyans who continue to fight for change in Venezuela,” he concluded.
